That is why we are implementing various sustainability measures to minimize our environmental impact without compromising our guests’ comfort. - The building’s lighting is connected to a seasonal timer to prevent lights from staying on unnecessarily.
- All lighting is LED.
- Digital information is provided for guests, with as little printed material as possible.
- Bed linens are changed after the third night to save on transportation, water, and cleaning supplies.
- Waste is sorted into glass, paper, and general waste, with the goal of reducing waste streams.
- Water-saving faucets and showerheads have been installed.
- Coffee and small snacks are organic.
- Cranberry jam and sweets from Vlieland are local products and therefore better for the environment.
- We use heat pumps.
