House Rules

Safety

• Always follow the instructions of our staff regarding safety and building rules.
• In case of fire, you must always use the stairs.
• When the general fire alarm sounds, you must immediately evacuate the building and follow the instructions of our staff.
• It is not permitted to cover, turn, or tamper with fire alarms in any way. If this causes a false alarm or malfunction, you will be charged €200.

Lost and Found

Did you find an item? Please turn it in at the front desk. Lost and found items are kept there in accordance with our internal procedures.

Liability

• Vlierijck is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
• Valuables, jewelry, and securities remain your sole responsibility at all times.
• You are liable for any damage caused to Vlierijck’s property during your stay. Even in the case of minor damage, such as a broken glass, we ask that you report it immediately so that we can repair or replace it.

What is not permitted?

Use of emergency exits

Emergency exits may only be used in emergency situations and not as regular entrances or exits.

Damage to property

Intentional damage to Vlierijck’s property is not permitted. Any repair and replacement costs will be charged to the person responsible.

Noise Disturbance

To ensure the peace and quiet of all guests, we ask that you be considerate of your surroundings. Causing noise disturbances is not permitted between 8:00 PM and 9:00 AM.

Narcotics

The use, sale, or possession of narcotics within the complex is prohibited.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments, on the balconies, or on the terraces. If it is determined that smoking has occurred, we will be forced to charge a €200 cleaning fee.
