A warm welcome to Appartementen Hotel Vlierijck. Together with our team, we do our best every day to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Over the coming days, you can enjoy the nature of Vlieland, the beautiful beaches, and above all, the cozy atmosphere in our picturesque village of Oost-Vlieland.
To ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, we have compiled this information folder for you containing information about our apartments and our services. It also describes various attractions on the island. Of course, you are always welcome at the reception for questions and fun, inspiring ideas for your stay. We wish you a pleasant stay.
Team Vlierijck
Check-out
Check-out is at 10:30. The cost of your stay must be paid upon check-in. This can be done with cash, debit card, Eurocard/Mastercard, or Visa. Would you prefer to check out later? Please inquire at the reception about the possibilities. The fee for a late check-out is € 40,-.
House Rules
- Smoking is prohibited indoors.
- No parties or events.
- Respect your neighbors and be considerate of one another.
- Enjoy your stay and have fun!
Games
Various games are available to borrow at the reception. Fun for young and old, perfect for a cozy evening together. Whether it is raining or a quiet afternoon – gaming fun is guaranteed! Feel free to ask about them at the front desk.
Laundromat
Would you like to do some laundry? You can easily do so at our guest laundromat in the Klein Vlierijck annex, on the ground floor. Free washer-dryer combinations are available for you here. Just don't forget to bring your own washing powder. No detergent on hand? No problem! You can also buy laundry capsules at the reception.
Fitness Room
The fitness room is accessible daily with your room key from 08:00 to 19:30. Children under 16 are only welcome under the supervision of an adult.
Coffee Capsules
Coffee capsules from De Koffie Jongens are for sale for €4,25 per 10 capsules. De Koffie Jongens works with farmers who receive fair prices and cultivate coffee in harmony with nature.
Marie-Stella-Maris
Various Marie-Stella-Maris products are available for purchase at the reception. Perhaps you have already tried them in the bathroom. Are you a fan? Then you can purchase them here as well. With every purchase, you support sustainable water projects that make clean drinking water available to people worldwide. This way, you turn your daily routine into a moment with impact.
Dogs
Your dog is very welcome at Vlierijck. We ensure a comfortable stay, with a food and water bowl and a crate in the room. This way, your four-legged friend will feel right at home immediately. There are a limited number of dog-friendly apartments available. Cost: €25 per night plus €40 final cleaning fee. Maximum 2 dogs per apartment.
Baby Package
Would you like a baby package in your apartment? Please request it at the reception before 5:00 PM. We will ensure the package is ready for your arrival. The baby package includes a baby cot, changing mat, and high chair. The cost is €35 per stay.
Wellness
Vlierijck features a wellness area with a whirlpool, steam cabin, infrared sauna, Finnish sauna, showers, and a cold water shower. The facilities are available daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. You must reserve a sauna visit at the reception before 5:00 PM. A surcharge applies for this:
- 2 hours: € 14,50 per person
- 3 hours: € 18,00 per person
The wellness area is for a maximum of 10 people and swimwear is mandatory. Use of the wellness area includes a bathrobe, towels, tea, and water.
Swimming Pool
The heated swimming pool is open on:
Monday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Tuesday to Sunday: 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM
There is no supervision present: swimming is at your own risk.
Children's Play Area
Located in the main building is a children's playroom featuring, among other things, a shuffleboard, dartboard, ping-pong table (bats available at reception), drawing table, play equipment, large blackboard, and Jenga. Use is free, but unsupervised – playing is at your own risk. There is a Jeu de Boules court in the courtyard. Balls are available at reception.
Activities
There is plenty to do on Vlieland. Take an exciting Seal Tour and spot these special animals from the water. The Vliehors Express takes you across the vast sands of the Vliehors for an adventurous trip. During the summer, a TukTuk service is also available. Ask the reception for details on the possibilities. In the charming Dorpstraat, you can enjoy shopping and soak up the local atmosphere. Additionally, the island is perfect for walking or cycling through the dunes, forests, and along the beach. Vlieland offers something for everyone!
Transport
Bicycle
You can reserve your bicycles at the reception. You will also receive a nice saddle cover to easily identify your bike. The bicycles are added to your apartment booking and you can settle the bill upon departure. Please inquire at the reception for current bicycle rental prices.
Bus
There is a scheduled bus service on Vlieland. A timetable is available at the reception. The nearest stop is at the ferry square near the jetty for the fast ferry.
Ferry
For information regarding Rederij Doeksen ferry times, please refer to www.rederij-doeksen.nl or the ticket office in the ferry terminal. This is only open for ferry departures and arrivals. Naturally, we are happy to assist you with booking or changing your outbound or return journey.

Emergency services
Pharmacy/Doctor
If you need a doctor or medication, you can contact our GP practice (with an in-house pharmacy): 0562 45 13 07 (always available). To make an appointment, please call 0562 45 13 07 before 10:30 AM. If you reach an automated answering machine, you can press 1 in case of emergencies. One of the GPs is always present. Address: Molenglop 6.
AED
An AED is available at the reception. Call 112 in case of emergency and ask a staff member of Appartementen Hotel Vlierijck for the AED.
Police
For emergencies, you can call 112. For less urgent matters, you can contact the police at 0900-8844. The police station is located next to the community school "de Jutter" at Lutinelaan 5 and is open from Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. During the summer holidays, the station is open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to noon and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
